In August 2012 I joined a Facebook group called Theme Music which completely revitalized my creativity. What exactly is Theme Music? Each week a theme is posted and members have 7 days to record a song that matches the theme, make an accompanying video and post the results online. Sounded like fun so I plunged in.

I was suddenly motivated by several things that had been missing for years: a goal, a deadline, an audience, and (friendly) competition.

These songs were recorded very quickly while sitting at my desk in my living room with very little forethought and virtually no second guessing. I've largely returned to the recording methods and the instruments of my high school days and the results are raw, spontaneous and, most significantly, fun.

I'll add a new song whenever one appears...
